Research Center of Legal and Economic Problems of Electronic Communication



The Research Center of Legal and Economic Problems of Electronic Communication (CBKE) is a research institute operating at the University of Wroclaw since 2002. The institute was established for conducting scientific research in the field of variable aspects of ICT Law. Over the years of the existence at the University of Wroclaw the position of CBKE as an organizer and co-organizer of scientific events and participant of research projects has been reinforced.

Priorities of the institute are inter alia conducting research under direction of the University, development of international contacts and establishing scientific cooperation with other organizations and academic institutions, specialized in similar area of law as well as supporting of academic life among students and integration of academic and scientific environment.

The research aim is popularization of ICT tools and ensuring access to it to lawyers and officials. CBKE also actively undertakes actions and takes attempts to reform the legal system. Most of CBKE co-workers are judges, prosecutors, attorneys and legal counsels.
